The Creative Account Director is a multi-tasking leader who serves as the bridge between the clients and the creative team.   Reporting directly to Senior Vice President, Creative Services, the Creative Account Director will be responsible for evaluating resources, assigning projects and knowing what creative assets are available across creative campaigns, leveraging content to clients while ensuring delivery of completed and/or customized assets. The Creative Account Director is constantly solving problems, managing internal and external communication and driving projects to completion.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the main day-to-day contact on current and future projects for clients and external partners providing timely responses to all inquiries
  • Forecast creative resource needs through monthly reporting providing recommendations for managing workload as needed
  • Track deliveries of creative assets to internal and external partners and provide overall summary of deliverables by campaign/client
  • Translate and enter client requests and requirements into detailed and sometimes technical instructions for project teams
  • Identify campaign/client needs and opportunities based on available assets and resources
  • Lead meetings and communications with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and/or adapt processes, policies and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
  • Confidence and presence in front of client; manages conflict resolution effectively both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of the key business priorities are and does not allow others to be distracted from them
  • Effective team member; supports the team by pitching in at any level and effectively working across the organization to meet the needs of the business

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or Statistics
  • At least 5- 7 years’ experience managing campaigns and/or creative deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and handle high-pressure situations with tight timelines
  • Confident in communicating with C-Level executives
  • Strong advocacy skills on behalf of the client to internal teams and on behalf of the creative team to the client, all in the name of making great work that accomplishes predetermined goals

Required Knowledge & Experience: 

  •  Advanced understanding of print, interactive and video projects and processes
  • Experience working with clients and managing client relationships
  • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and business acumen
