With successful launches in the US, Brazil and LATAM, around 2 million downloads and 1 million + Active Users, Glorify is on its way to becoming the world’s largest digital platform for the 2.5 billion Christians worldwide. Think Calm or Headspace but for the Christian community. Glorify utilises bite-size readings, meditations, music and gamification techniques, to enable people to spend daily time with God through guided worship routines, curated content and a world-class user experience. The role

As the Art Director you will be responsible for generating visual concepts in response to Executive strategies. This covers all media platforms, including digital communications, websites, app content and emails, print marketing materials, press advertising, television and video, branding and use of logos.

  • You’ll also contribute significantly to campaigns in terms of overall look & feel and physical installations and internal communications.
  • You’ll be working in partnership with a Copywriter who produces the written content, the Art Director will seek to influence changes in audience behavior through visual ideas, creativity and the use of various media.
  • You will work on creative projects from conception to completion and have overall sign-off on the appearance of the final product.
  • As the Art Director you will develop the visual offering of Glorify; championing creativity and creative work within the organization. Whilst guarding the brand aesthetics, you will intentionally steer the evolution of our design strategies, promoting excellence, ingenuity and new ideas.
  • You will also be the point of contact for work moving through the creative studio. You will build and manage a world-class creative team including; video, animation, art, design, calligraphy and set design.

Once you and your team have established the creative parameters for a new project, you will then work with the various Marketing and Content teams to roll out the deliverables in their various formats, ensuring that the creative brief is executed well. In addition, you will be involved in retrospectively reviewing the outcomes of marketing activity and new content, to ensure that we are achieving our business goals. This will always be data-driven and may require you and your team to pivot and redesign deliverables to better meet those goals.

Requirements
  • You’ll have previous multi-disciplinary, creative team management experience, ideally with experience in an entrepreneurial enterprise.
  • You’ll have a good working knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation.
  • You’ll be an expert in effective designs and layout across multiple mediums, with the ability to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and visual concepts.
  • As Art Director you’ll have the confidence to explain and support your thinking, taking a flexible, best-idea-wins approach with a willingness to adapt your ideas based on data-driven outcomes.
  • Naturally, you’ll have a passion for commercial art and creativity, with a keen eye for visual details and accuracy even under tight deadlines.
  • You’ll be up to date on the latest art and design software and hold a keen awareness of the market and the ever-evolving platforms for digital content.
