As the Art Director at Off Center, you will lead the design process from concept to completion. Collaborating with internal and external creative teams and resources, you will own any and all client design deliverables, ranging from web and mobile interfaces to social media content. You’ll leverage your experiences and flex your skills and impeccable eye for design to create & validate solutions that impact users/customers and drive our clients’ visions forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creative process from initial conception to final implementation
  • Manage, delegate and guide tasks among internal and external creative teams to coordinate the execution and successful delivery of client deliverables
  • Create and communicate with purpose - articulate design decisions with strategic supporting evidence, insight and rationale
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards across the company
  • Present concepts to internal teams as well as client stakeholders
  • Experiment and share new tools and techniques to influence greater efficiencies and output
  • Proactively communicate with project and account manager to keep design deliverables on track
  • Participate in client meetings and creative strategy discussions
  • Support new business pursuits - participate in creative concepting, asset development and presentation deck creation
  • Help identify and recruit new creative talent, from FTE’s to contractors

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 5-6 years of experience as a graphic designer and/or Art Director (agency experience preferred; digital marketing background a plus)
  • Expert level skills in Adobe Creative Suite with a working knowledge of Figma/Sketch or other UI tools for both low and high fidelity design comps and prototypes
  • Online portfolio with a heavy emphasis on interactive work that shows an eye for detail, an understanding of typography and knowledge of design trends - responsive web design samples, interface design and other campaign-focused projects
  • Team player and self-starter with a true passion for design
  • Ability to translate strategy into design across print, web, mobile, video and other mediums
  • Experienced multitasker that is not intimidated by the thought of juggling multiple projects and tasks at once
  • Experience building scalable design practices including component libraries and design systems
  • Strong presentation skills, both internal and external
  • Have working knowledge of web & mobile technologies, platforms, and frameworks (and their constraints)
  • Knowledge of digital accessibility standards
  • Comfortable leading and/or assisting in user research activities and client workshops
  • Learning new skills and expanding personal capabilities is part of your DNA
