As an Art Director you have broad experience leading multi-disciplinary projects. You consistently will partner with senior colleagues to create solutions that deliver on branding, style and functionality. Your innovative, impressive portfolio and exploration of opportunities helps you to drive the departments’ creative vision and reputation. You are able to build and maintain relationships with key clients and teams.

You lead the way with creating innovative and cutting-edge design at the highest level. Actively engage with both internal and external clients and consistently demonstrate an ability to solve complex work- related problems across a variety of media.

Key objectives and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, advise and guide international project teams and internal clients to create cutting-edge design solutions
  • Work with the brand team to produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
  • Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up to date with the latest marketing techniques.
  • Create and implement tailored marketing plans based on individual client/project requirements.
  • Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions.
  • Shape brand standards and create procedures to ensure all products are brand appropriate.
  • Supervise the teams daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines.
  • Develop exceptional and well-crafted copy that meet clients’ requirements.
  • Set the standard for delivering detailed, constructive and critical feedback on high end design projects.
  • Be an ambassador of the brand and guide clients and colleagues on the right processes.
  • Understand and follow all DTP and firm-wide processes and regulations
  • Maintain all personal administrative data
  • Written and Spoken English

You must demonstrate an appropriate competence and level of understanding in the following areas:

  • Working with branding effectively and creatively
  • Appropriate understanding of the principles of graphic design and how to use them effectively and creatively (Colour,
  • Typography, Layout and Composition and Hierarchy)
  • Appropriate understanding of data visualisation and how to display information in a creative and visual context
  • Ability and understanding in the research, analysis and development of how to effectively communicate and appropriately disseminate ideas/messages e.g. mood boards
  • The ability to apply a range of visual languages to express ideas across traditional, digital and emerging media
  • Demonstrate effective and appropriate presentation of work – including refining, editing, selecting and production – across a range of platforms
  • Create work that demonstrates understanding of how design functions in different contexts and in relation to varied audiences
  • Demonstrate a self-reflective approach to work and an ability to give feedback on others - including awareness and understanding of current industry practices and future directions
  • Understand the needs of the client and how to ask the right questions
  • Detailed understanding of print processes
