Rippling is looking for a Brand Design Lead to found and grow their brand/marketing design team.

In partnership with marketing and product, you’ll be responsible for defining Rippling’s visual identity, and executing it across every channel — offline (outdoor, events, etc.) and online (emails, landing pages, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Rippling’s visual identity and systems — it will be your job to make sure every time a customer sees something
  • Rippling-related, they understand, and feel something awesome
  • Craft clear and evocative visuals across mediums like the website, billboards, digital advertisements, sales presentations, and more
  • Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and product design team to ensure product touch-points are aligned with the brand’s visual design system
  • Be a thoughtful and articulate advocate for the brand internally within Rippling, and externally with the broader creative community
  • Manage, art direct, and mentor a small team of designers and help select external agencies
  • Iterate and test designs in partnership with the Growth and Product teams in order to consistently improve the communication and conversion of our marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of visual design experience, with previous leadership experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing and building small design teams
  • Light experience with interaction design or user experience workflows
  • A strong portfolio, showcasing strong typography, visual design, and brand systems
  • Strong conceptual, creative and critical thinking, with a knack for visual story-telling
  • Ability to delegate and collaborate with team members, contractors, and agencies
