Role:

The Collective is looking for a creative design intern for a year, who’s eager to learn our brand inside-out. You will be helping their design team deliver creative work that will be critical to the success of The Collective as they grow and help nurture their foundations as an iconic and design-led brand.

They’re after someone with bags of talent and enthusiasm, who will thrive in a busy and creative business where you can make a genuine difference. A genuine love of all things foodie would be a big tick too.

Our brand is something we feel deeply passionate about and we want to ensure the magic we have built up continues to grow and evolve as we do. Our aim is to knock the socks off anyone that comes into contact with us.

We have big ambitions for the future and as our business continues to grow, so do our design needs. That means we’re looking for someone to join our in-house creative team and help keep us looking sharp.

What you’d be doing:

Helping on a range of design work including trade press advertisements, in-store comms, social media posts, product launch support, sales presentations, internal design and customer care collateral. You will be supported and guided by our in-house designer. Demonstrating the ability to grasp the look and feel for our brand, follow guidelines and hit deadlines.

  • Boast an impressive portfolio of design work to knock our socks off with.
  • Have good experience in the Creative Suite (illustrator, in-design and photoshop).
  • Have the ability and agility to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling a number of different projects at any one time.
  • Are a stickler for details, taking pride in the execution of all work.
  • Are a team player and not afraid to get stuck in. Be that executing your own work on a job big or small, or collaborating on projects to help others out.
  • Have a “can do” attitude and make things happen.
  • Are self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Have a healthy curiosity.

What’s in it for you?

An access all areas pass to the exciting world of a challenger brand. There are no walls in our office, we’re open, transparent and everyone has full visibility of our performance. We’re a tight knit team of people who want to move the dial and make things happen.

We are in that great position of being big enough to have clout in our marketplace, but small enough to still be entrepreneurial and nimble and for every member of our team to be able to make a genuine difference to the brand every day.

We will help you grow and learn by offering tailored training, coaching and clearly laid out objectives.

We like to reflect on and celebrate our success’. Every summer and Christmas we organise an official team get together, along with other ad-hoc nights out throughout the year and we often lunch together too.
