About Triple Double:

We are a design studio working across the worlds of young people, sport and education.

We collaborate with our clients, working together as one team. Everyone brings their individual flair for a shared purpose.

Education underpins all that we do, we help people to understand what design is and where it can take them next.

Proud to be working with the likes of: Action Against Hunger, Arts and Culture University of Exeter, Basketball England, the Design Museum, Institute of Imagination, National Saturday Club, Pinterest, Project Backboard, Red Bull, Unilever and University of the Arts London.

Inside the studio, our ‘culture’ is simple to define. Each person has a say, is invited to contribute and given opportunities to keep moving Triple Double forward.

You:

  • Are willing to be yourself, we and our clients like individual personalities.
  • Have outstanding communication and listening skills.
  • Have a desire to continuously understand and learn – asking questions, probing, critiquing.
  • Can help keep our design and creative efforts efficient and organised.
  • Are honest, you’re not afraid to say no or to challenge, because you’re always looking to improve things.

With design you:

  • Think 360 degrees, not just typography and grids.
  • But, you are genuinely good at working with typography when you need to: typesetting, layout, hierarchy.
  • Can sketch/scamp with pen and paper, your natural starting point.
  • Are a creative and conceptual thinker, whether your ideas are big or small.
  • Are an executor too, you know what it takes to deliver something end to end.

Software you can use:

  • Adobe Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects (as a bonus)
  • Sketch and/or Adobe XD
  • Prototyping software: InVision and the likes of Framer/Origami/Principle
  • Keynote
  • Premiere, basic video editing software skills would be a bonus

Tell us about if:

You run a side-hustle or have a passion that falls within our young people, sports and education worlds.

Your Responsibilities:

Branding

We’re looking for someone who is open to approaching branding projects in new ways each time rather than a set formulaic way. You can think about how a brand looks, moves, sounds, feels in space etc, not just logo design

Digital

You think about digital (well, all design) and approach it user first – using research findings and evidence to base your decisions upon. You can create things beyond just websites with boxed in design. We’re looking for someone who knows how to create user experience and user interface design confidently and understands the digital design process. Animation and interaction design would be a bonus.

Creative assets

You have solid experience creating general creative assets, so print, other offline projects and digital assets, plus exposure to the production process of them.

Photography and film art direction

Whilst we don’t expect it fully, hopefully you’ve had some exposure to photography/film projects and played a supporting role on these.

Workshops

You’ll be planning, researching and undertaking general preparation for workshops we run: creating slides, contributing to content, workshop structure.

Triple Double projects

You’ll be creating our own social media and website assets and can think creatively how to bring content to life. You’ll also be a key contributor and generator of all our own studio projects.

Culture building

Everyone at Triple Double plays a part in shaping our culture, you too, and we’re proud of that.

Other things:

  • This is a permanent role, but we’re open to 4x days a week or full time, tell us which you’d prefer and why.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to be part of a set up that’s growing with plenty of exciting projects.
  • Be given trust, autonomy and support from the rest of the team.
  • Rewarded with a salary relevant with your experience – we pay people what they deserve.

Those are our specifics, tell us about something else that makes you, you.

How to apply:

If you like what you’ve read, then please send an email to [email protected] explaining why you think you are suitable for this role and want to become part of Triple Double.

Please send us your portfolio, CV/LinkedIn profile and your salary expectations too.

Because of the current situation, we’ll be taking approx. 4 weeks to review all applicants before getting back to selected candidates we’d like to interview.

We are an equal opportunities studio so we welcome applications from all suitably qualified people.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
