About:

FLOWER CO. is a wholesale cannabis delivery service that sells 40+ brands for 40% less.

The California cannabis market is $10 billion dollars of which $8 billion is still illicit. With taxes as high as 40%+ in cities like Los Angeles, consumers have little reason to participate in the regulated market.

FLOWER CO. seeks to change this. Thanks to our Costco-like pricing model and scheduled delivery (not on-demand), we beat the illicit market on price. We are the first cannabis company to offer a price match guarantee too. We deliver to San Francisco, East Bay (Berkeley to Fremont), Marin, Vallejo, Sacramento, Humboldt, and LA with plans to expand to other states.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with the product and engineering leads to understand and design customer journeys, define high-priority problems the company needs to solve, and explore iterative solutions towards accomplishing team goals
  • Accelerate the rate at which we acquire users (on-boarding flow, promotions, toast banner, when to ask for what)Increase the perceived value of our membership and why it’s worth joining
  • Improve the user experience for existing members across various functions like rescheduling deliveries, notify when back in stock, order substitution, and more
  • Design internal tools to help improve processes like our barcode scanning app, rescheduling deliveries, managing stock, and new product uploads
  • Pick up the phone to call users, conduct surveys, and collect feedback in order to prioritize effectively

What We Value :

  • When tasks are prioritized based on user research, often qualitative.
  • Ability to prototype quickly Creative thinking and a real passion for brand design
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are rolled out properly
  • Diversity to ensure our designs are easy to use and welcome users of all types

Requirements :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience working at an agency or in-house
  • Available to work full-time in Culver City, LA
  • Some experience working with or managing other designers
  • A compelling portfolio across all platforms (mobile, desktop)
  • Embrace an iterative design process that welcomes feedback
