About Local Measure:

Local Measure is a customer experience platform for the real world. Our tools help hotels, stadiums and theme parks have more meaningful conversations with their customers, work better in their teams, and ultimately provide exceptional experiences for their guests.

As a member of our small design team you will have a key role in shaping the future of our products.

Here are some of the challenges you will be working on:

Discovery and Insights - What information and insights can we provide that will help our users help their customers? How can we make it easier for our users to find the information that is important to them, when and where it’s needed?

Workflows and Collaboration - How do we make information actionable and how do our users keep track of what actions have been taken both on- and off-line? How does our platform fit into our users existing workflows and tools?

Becoming a Platform - Our next level of growth will come from extending functionality through apps and integrations. How do we design a developer experience that makes build integrations simple and enticing for other products?

Seamless Guest Experiences - A good portion of the products we build are experienced by our customers' customers. We need to make our customers look good by making fast, beautiful and effective experiences.

About you:

We are not big on requirements lists, but here’s a few things that will help you fit the part.

  • You believe that design is about solving problems not just aesthetics
  • You’re passionate and excited about doing good work
  • You’re curious and love to learn new things
  • You understand the opportunities and constraints of designing for the web and mobile
  • You have some experience building and shipping digital products
  • We are looking for strong all-rounders with bonus points for skills or interest in areas like front-end code, animation or illustration.

Working at Local Measure:

Based in the heart of Surry Hills in Sydney, we are growing rapidly and have global offices in Singapore, Dubai, Miami, Phoenix, and London. Our users are in over 65 countries around the world from some of the most recognized hospitality, tourism and retail brands.

We are proud of our core values. They are a true reflection of the culture we have built and the benefits we provide:

  • Office lunch every Friday
  • Our annual-ish conference LMC (Vietnam and Cambodia were the last two destinations)
  • Unlimited access to Linkedin Learning courses
  • Flexible working hours
(side note: the design team played a key role in bringing the core values to life).
