Closer Studio is looking for a Senior Designer/ Art Director to closely work together with the Creative and Communications Director Team to develop and shape the visual identity of the Scorpios Brand on its journey to become a global lifestyle hospitality brand. Together with a small team, you will manage design projects from initiation to completion, leading design through conceptualization, execution, and production while overseeing the design quality on all Touchpoints.

Furthermore you will
- conceptualize, plan and direct photo & video shootings
- establish visual tonality through image curation and design direction
- independently lead design processes and mentor young designers
- oversee and quality control the ongoing daily communication
- oversee print productions
- create web layouts and UX design concepts for the Scorpios Brand, its Record Label and online shop
- curate moodboards and write creative briefs
- foster a network of international photographers, videographers, musicians and web developers
- design print collateral for hospitality and gastronomy brands
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a designer
- An impeccable eye for taste, trends and detail and how it best fits within the lifestyle travel segment
- Establish visual tonality through image curation and design direction
- Deep Knowledge of design tools: Adobe InDesign, XD, Photoshop
- Ability to pick up tools: Webflow, FinalCut Pro, Apple Keynote, Adobe After Effects
- A keen sense of personal responsibility, for the quality control, presentation and accuracy of all work
- Confident and competent team/client management skills
- Bonus points for any web development or motion design experience
