We’re looking for a smart, motivated Social Media Creative to join our growing team at We Are Kinsmen.

As a Social Creative you will act as the online voice of the brand, delivering engaging content across our social media channels and interacting with communities to elevate awareness and build brand loyalty.

Key areas of the role are:

A lot of:

  • Planning: Working in partnership with the Creative Director you will map out monthly content against our overall brand strategy and content pillars.
  • Making: You will use our existing projects to rework and reshape edits, creating still, moving image and graphic posts for use across Instagram each month.
  • Writing: You will draft copy for posts adopting our brand tone of voice promoting our work and the work of our partners and clients.
  • Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with trends to inform creative content ideation. Post, share and promote topics which we and our community are passionate about.

A little bit of:

Measuring: Analyse how Kinsmen is perceived by its audience and how our content stands out against competitors. Use platform analytics and social listening to gather channel insights and recommend a course of action to improve brand presence and content.

The ideal candidate is a passionate digital creative, speaks fluent social media and cares about telling important stories in ways which maximise engagement. We pride ourselves in making high quality content with heart, our social media should also reflect that. Good communication and collaboration is essential across our social channels and with our wider team and network of freelancers.

From its inception Kinsmen has evolved into a space for idea development, commercial video production and collaboration with both local and global brands. We believe in creativity with compassion and are keen to tell stories which will shape a brighter future.

Our projects span healthcare to slow fashion, beauty to sustainable travel, fitness to finance and everything in between. Although we are lucky enough to work with household names, we are equally passionate to support independent brands, the under represented and the thinkers of tomorrow.

Our clients and partners share our mission and recognise the hallmarks of good practice. They work with us because we challenge their creative ideas, offer new perspectives backed by rigorous research and are devoted to doing a job well.

Requirements:

  • Junior with min. 1 year commercial experience (graduates may also apply with demonstrable relevant skills)
  • Experience across Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign the ability to open projects and rework content into social friendly posts.
  • Familiar with google suite/drive, shared spreadsheets and docs
  • Knowledge and understanding of Instagram functions and formats, familiar with running reports through native insights.
  • Enthusiastic about looking after our planet and those who live on it!

 Specifics:

  • Freelance contract for first 6 months.
  • 2 days per week, day rate negotiable on experience
  • Remote working possible although regular meet ups required
