Role:

The opportunity Make! Craft! Live is a national celebration of craft. They have invited partner organisations to submit events that can form a year-long celebration of craft and making. 50 events will be selected, and they will work with partner organisations to help them utilise the graphic assets that will identify them as being part of the campaign across print and digital channels. They are looking for a freelance graphic designer who is happy to work with preexisting assets and style guides to create digital and print assets for partners across the course of the next 12 months for partner organisations.
Working closely with the Comms team you will bring an existing creative treatment to life across multiple online and offline marketing channels. The work will take place over three project tranches – each with its own set of partners requiring a suite of branded assets to promote their activity under the Make! Craft! Live! identity. This role requires a strong eye for detail, open communication and an up-to-date understanding of best practice for digital. Design outputs may include hero images for web pages, social content, e-newsletter banners, digital flyers, event materials and branded resources. You will be a proactive and punctual self-starter who is experienced working with brand guidelines to tight deadlines. To express your interest in this opportunity please submit a portfolio, highlighting any relevant experience of working with existing design assets. Please indicate your day rate and availability for work between Nov 2021 – October 2022. The total budget available across the year is £5,000 and we would anticipate a minimum of 5 days delivery each quarter.
