MoMA is looking to hire a freelance (hybrid) Graphic Designer whoc crafts omnichannel marketing campaigns that can inspire and delight our customers, bringing to life the rich stories behind our brand and the products we sell.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience. 
  • 2-3 years’ demonstrated experience in graphic design for in-house or agency. 
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibility, conceptual development, art direction and typography skills. 
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative nature.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Skilled in the use of additional creative tools in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of basic business tools. Working knowledge of Sketch and After Effect.Fully vaccinated with a Centers for Disease
  • Control and Prevention and/or the World Health
  • Organization authorized vaccine (or approved for an exemption as a reasonable accommodation due to a qualified disability or sincerely held religious belief or other legal basis).

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop creative concepts for upcoming seasons and key campaigns including seasonal launches, pop-ups, and holiday.
  • Create graphic design materials for key campaigns such as ads, Retail collateral, and merchandising projects.
  • Assist Store Visual Manager on creating store graphics and catalog design. 
  • Assist Digital Design Manager on creating digital marketing assets including web banners, emails and digital ads. 
  • Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.

Reports to: Art Director / Dotted-reporting into Director, Retail Marketing
