WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you a detailed, dynamic designer? Thrive in a fast-paced environment? Confident in your craft? You might make a great Freelance Graphic Designer at MAS. We’re looking for someone who is able to take creative ownership and work independently, as well as take direction and collaborate with a larger team.
This is a full time role that supports the Creative department with concepting, developing, and executing a wide range of brand-focused projects. As part of our creative team, you’ll be working alongside a variety of roles including creative directors, art directors, motion designers, producers, strategists, as well as other designers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Execute high quality design from concept to delivery while following brand guidelines.
- Work may include research, contributing to brand strategy, visual identity development and execution for web/digital & print, brand guidelines, iconography, typography, illustration, design for motion graphics, design and maintenance of client facing creative decks for projects and RFPs, and more.
- Being engaged in and excited about trends in culture, design & technology is crucial as creating and critiquing visual identity through mood imagery is essential in this role.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 4+ Years Experience Graphic design
- A portfolio featuring a range of diverse projects and design
- An awareness of current trends and feel confident enough to contribute to the creative process
- Flexibility and adaptability to a wide range of clients and styles
- Ability to work across mediums, both print and digital
- Understand brand identity and how to weave it into creative work appropriately
- Experience building and/or working with scalable design systems
- Experience designing and re-sizing assets for a variety of digital spaces
- Strong typographic skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and an ability to articulate and defend design choices
- Expertise in Creative Suite, Miro, and Figma ++
- Motion design experience a ++
- Experience with Google Workspace ++
HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting rate range for this role is between $60.00-90.00 per hour. Our rate ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual rate is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
