Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description

A highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and digital media. Someone who has expert knowledge of current design software and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams, he/ she should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.​

Graphic designers are responsible for developing various types of creative designs for the brand. This includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics, shaping the visual aspects of product packaging, pop-ups and more.​

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on a wide range of projects and media to visualize and create innovative graphic designs that meet business goals of the brand.​
  • Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, improve functionality, and represent the brand effectively.​
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design following the established identity of the brand and its campaigns.​
  • Develop visual concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.​
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and schedule implementation based on workload, which may include working on simultaneous projects.​
  • Work full-time hours in flexible shifts, which may include weekends and evenings depending on when events & meetings are scheduled or to meet deadlines. ​

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline.​
  • Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong work portfolio.​
  • Experience (academic and professional) with design software including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.​
  • Understanding of marketing, production, brand identity, product packaging, and multimedia design.​

  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.​
  • A strong eye for visual composition, aesthetics and details.​
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.​
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.​
