The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a company working to transform U.S. healthcare. As a Senior Designer on the Marketing Team, you will have the unique opportunity to define the organization’s visual and verbal expression in relation to our maturing ecosystem. You have the chops and desire to roll up your sleeves and bring dynamic designs to life for our core audience. We are not a typical marketing department within a health-tech company. We seek to lift design away from standard corporate messaging to communicate a bold and differentiated vision to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Design for both in person and virtual events with external audiences, including stage design, signage, presentations, and other visual collateral.
  • Design content such as logos, illustrations, animations, or other visual images for collateral including but not limited to websites, landing pages, social, email, digital presentation templates, videos, print enablement materials, and whitepapers.
  • Work within our brand guidelines to create layouts that promote Cedar style and voice through all visual touch points. Captivate our B2B audience with design that elevates visual appearance and ensures both brand continuity and consistency.
  • Own and manage various design project deadlines across multiple campaigns and projects.
  • Communicate your design strategy and decisions clearly and effectively to the team, facilitating effective feedback discussions and managing expectations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends and best practices, with the ability to innovate and recommend/implement compelling, creative new design concepts accordingly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on design experience, ideally in a creative agency or in-house design for a company. Prior experience working in a fast paced startup (plus). Prior experience working with a b2b audience and/or healthcare a plus.
  • The ideal candidate lives, loves, and laughs Figma. Role will require strong technical acumen with the ability to use a variety of visual and audio design with strong skills graphic design and video editing tools. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Figma, and video editing software such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools is required.
  • Google Suite expertise
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual design skills through typography, layout, and experience in both digital and non-digital communications
  • The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep understanding of industry best practices and the ability to build brand awareness and reputation through strong, bold, differentiated design.
  • Ability to communicate creative concepts and articulate solutions to project stakeholders
  • Expertise in creating production-ready files and videos, with strict adherence to layout, typography, and color guidelines.
  • Experience collaborating with a team in a rapid growth environment. Strong organizational and project management skills, including a very strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks autonomously..
  • Experience facilitating feedback conversations and strong interpersonal skills in ability to listen to, filter, and apply feedback.
  • Skilled in managing feedback from all roles and backgrounds—facilitating conversations with the ability to listen to, filter, and apply feedback. Strong interpersonal skills and openness to feedback is a must.

Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Salary Range*: $102,00 - $120,000
  • This role is also equity eligible
